Good to know

Centrally located for your beach getaway, or business trip. James Island is close to everything, and very easy to get to. You will have the whole main house to yourself, but the backyard is shared. We live nearby if you have any questions, or need anything. In addition to the bedrooms, full baths, full kitchen, game room and living room, our backyard is a wonderful place to hang out. We have a creek, a garden and fruit trees, a gas grill, a hot tub, and a fire pit (al backyard amenities are shared with other guests). So much to enjoy as you are waterfront. You are even welcome to fish in the waterway (catch & release), or use our kayaks for a jaunt down the estuary. We have smart TVs with many apps to enjoy. Free parking for up to 4 vehicles onsite.

Other Details to Note

No smoking anywhere on the property. No drugs or parties. Because there are shared walls, we ask that you respect quiet hours. (10pm-7am) We provide towels, linens, toiletries, tea and coffee. There is a creek behind our house. If you let your children into our backyard, please be aware that the creek is attached, and be water safe. We provide a bag of beach essentials, which includes beach towels, an umbrella, and beach chairs (8), which you are welcome to use during your stay. Does not include snorkeling gear, as Airbnb lists in their “beach essentials” description. No pets, other than certified Service Animals, with proof of service sent prior to check-in. Please note: there is a $50 fee for an early check in or late checkout. For late checkout without prior approval, the fee is $50/hour, or portion thereof.

House Rules

As you may guess, this rule was born out of experience. We ask that you leave the place as you found it: If you break something, please replace it. If there is extensive damage, or an item is broken, you will be responsible to pay for the cost of repair or replacement. This will be determined by a receipt for replacement of the damaged item, or an estimate from a local, licensed contractor for the price to repair the damage. By booking our place, you agree to pay for any damages you incur. Please park directly in front of the main house, to the right side of the driveway, on the gravel. You can park up to five vehicles on that side. Please don't park on the left side of the driveway as that is reserved for our other guests. Please leave the driveway open so others can get in and out. Feel free to use the driveway to turn your vehicle around so you can get out facing forward. No smoking or drugs We do not allow pets, sorry. Early check-in, or late check-out requests (if we are able to accommodate) will be charged a $50 fee. Late checkout without communication will incur a fee of $50/hour, or portion thereof. Quiet Hours are 10pm-7am. Bathing suit required when in the hot tub.

Guest Access

You will have the entire main house to yourself. It has a kitchen, two bathrooms, three bedrooms, a living room, dining room, and game room. You may also feel free to enjoy the back or front yard, which is shared with our other guests. We can accommodate four guest vehicles. We give you a code to enter on the keypad a few days before you arrive. You can check in anytime after 4pm. We charge a $50 early check-in/late check-out fee, and can only guarantee we can accommodate it on the day of arrival/check out.

This house was very nice for my Bachelorette weekend! It had plenty of space, we all could get ready together, and the hot tub was a hit! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to go on a girls trip!
